Bureaucrats with Bayonets: The Carney Administration’s Moronic Plan to Save Canada with Paper-Pushers and U.S.-Controlled Toys… 300,000 Dudes Army to fight Russia and China!

November 11, 2025 6:10 pm

In relation to this news:-

Canadian military will rely on an army of public servants to boost its ranks by 300,000

Federal public servants would be trained to shoot guns, drive trucks and fly drones, according to a defence department directive.

Particular ridiculous are comments made by these two clowns in uniform:-

“Brig.-Gen. Brendan Cook warned that Canada needed to rearm for a potential war with China or Russia. That war could come between 2028 and 2030, Cook suggested.”

Bureaucrats with Bayonets: The Carney Administration’s Moronic Plan to Save Canada with Paper-Pushers and U.S.-Controlled Toys

By Eddie Hardie, Sociopolitical Commentator @ Canuck🍁Post

In a move that would be hilarious if it weren’t so utterly terrifying, the brain trust of the Carney Administration has unveiled its masterstroke to defend the world’s second-largest landmass: An army of public servants.

You read that correctly. While Russia and China are hypersonically modernizing their arsenals, Canada’s top military minds have looked upon the stalwart defenders of our nation—the brave souls who manage your EI claims and procurement forms—and declared, “These are our warriors.” The plan, as reported by the Ottawa Citizen, is to somehow boost our military ranks by a miraculous 300,000 by tapping into the federal bureaucracy.

This isn’t a defence strategy; it’s a sketch from a satirical news show. But the joke is on us, the Canadian taxpayers, who are funding this circus of incompetence.

Our “Military”: A Remote-Controlled Paper Tiger

Let’s be brutally clear: Canada has no sovereign defence. We are a military vassal state, and this new “plan” does nothing to change that. The fundamental, earth-shattering problem that our clueless generals and politicians refuse to address is that every single piece of crucial military hardware we own has a “Made in the U.S.A.” tag and a remote kill-switch held by Uncle Sam.

Our frontline fighter, the CF-18 (and its promised replacement, the F-35), our warships, our missile systems—they are all dependent on American software, American parts, and American permission to function. In a real conflict where U.S. and Canadian interests diverged by a single degree, or simply as a result of a bureaucratic error in Washington, the entire Canadian Armed Forces could be switched off like a misbehaving iPad. Imagine the headline: “Rogue Canadian Fleet Grounded After U.S. Forgets to Pay Adobe Subscription for Fighter Jet Software.” It’s not a joke; it’s a national humiliation.

No number of public servants-turned-soldiers can fix a fighter jet that has been remotely bricked by its manufacturer. You cannot charge a hill with a stapler. You cannot defend the Arctic with a well-filed TPS report.

Yes, she could take on Uncle Sam eh?

The Five-Star Clowns: Generals Eyre and Cook, Masters of the Obvious

The justification for this bureaucratic blitzkrieg comes from our very own Dr. Strangeloves, who have suddenly discovered that the world is a dangerous place.

First, we have Brig.-Gen. Brendan Cook, who, with the dramatic flair of a movie trailer, has warned that Canada needs to rearm for a potential war with China or Russia between 2028 and 2030.

Let’s pause to absorb the sheer, unadulterated genius of this statement. Why on God’s green earth would Canada, a nation that struggles to build a warship on time or under budget, seek a direct confrontation with the world’s #2 and #3 superpowers? Who do we think we are? The United States, with its trillion-dollar war machine, treats these nations with cautious, strategic respect. But Canada? Our generals, it seems, are itching for a fight they couldn’t win in a million years. It’s the geopolitical equivalent of a chihuahua challenging two rottweilers to a duel.

Then there’s the pièce de résistance from Chief of the Defence Staff Gen. Wayne Eyre, who in October 2023 declared that Canada is “already at war with Russia and China.”*

Really, General? What does this “war” look like? Are we launching cyberattacks from cubicles in Gatineau? Are our diplomats engaged in knife-fights in the halls of the UN? This is the kind of dangerously unhinged rhetoric that reveals either a profound misunderstanding of the word “war” or a desperate attempt to sound relevant. This isn’t strategy; it’s a cry for attention from a military establishment that has been chronically underfunded and mismanaged into irrelevance. These comments don’t inspire confidence; they reveal a leadership that is detached from reality and high on its own supply of melodrama.

Why This is a Catastrophe for Every Canadian

This isn’t just a farce; it’s an active danger.

  1. It Creates a False Sense of Security: Telling Canadians we are “mobilizing” by shuffling public servants is a lie. It disguises our profound vulnerability and kicks the hard decisions of real defence spending and sovereign capability further down the road.

  2. It Wastes Billions: This scheme will inevitably cost taxpayers billions for uniforms, basic training, and administrative overhead with zero meaningful improvement to our combat readiness. It’s a make-work project for the defence bureaucracy, not a defence plan for the nation.

  3. It Makes Us an International Laughingstock: Allies and adversaries alike are watching. They see a country whose generals talk of war with superpowers while planning to arm its tax collectors. We are becoming a punchline, which in geopolitics, is a very dangerous thing to be.

The Carney Administration and its cast of incompetent generals are steering the ship of state directly into an iceberg while arguing over the color of the deck chairs. We don’t need public servants with rifles. We need a government with a spine, a sovereign defence industrial strategy, and leaders who aren’t moronic clowns playing with a military they have deliberately broken.
