Mark Carney Hikes Military Spending from under $40B to $62.7B, claiming Canada too reliant on U.S. for defence, and citing threats to our Security & Sovereignty from “Russia’s barbaric invasion of Ukraine”, also “an increasingly assertive China”… But experts say the truth is ‘Corruption’

Why Mark Carney’s Military Spending Hike from under $40B to $62.7B, a whopping 60% INCREASE is not about Russia or China but… “Corruption”?

  • First of all, Canada has no business in Eurasia, we are not even a member of EU, Russia has never ever been a threat to Canada. And Justin Trudeau’s dad even flew to see Russia’s ally Fidel Castro and this explains why many believe he is the “Love Child” of Comrade Castro.
  • Similarly, China neither has the time nor any interest for a 100% vassal state of Uncle Sam like Canada aka 51st of USA, which has nothing to offer except oil and some agricultural produce. And for Carney to claim China too is a security threat (this alone is good enough a reason why China should treat Mark Carney as perosna non grata), you know he’s lying through his NOSE, not just teeth.

That said, the only reason why Carney is spending all your hard earned money like there is no tomorrow is because he knows his time as “Prime Minister of the 51st State” will be short lived one — One Term Maximum.

So, what about the “One Term Conspiracy“?

What would you do if you are corrupt and you have limited time left? Most crooks and criminal would choose to steal and rob to the maximum, and Carney is no exception because he has a beautiful track records of being a “Sticky Fingers” eg. just look up “Brookfield Asset Management” for an idea (this is his company tasked to build million of houses with your tax dollars).

More details here:-

Mark Carney the ‘Father of Housing Crisis’ is described as a ‘Sleazy Slimeball’ with tons of Scandalous Skeletons in his closet: Abuses, Naivety, Hypocrisy, Dishonesty, Corruption, Immorality, Incompetence, and condoning Safety Crime as well as enabling rampant Online Scams (in his name)

And to understand why the increased military budget will be a complete waste of money, one just gotta understand there is Zero Chance Canada could defend herself from Uncle Sam (our only security threat, not Russia or China), and scroll to the bottom for conclusion: “Why The Massive Increase In Military  Spending Is All About Corruption”.

Meanwhile, here’s the related news article:-

Carney says Canada too reliant on U.S. for defence as he hikes military spending

Prime Minister Mark Carney said Canada is too reliant on the United States for defence as he announced a significant boost in military spending Monday that will enable this country to meet NATO’s 2-per-cent military expenditure target this fiscal year – five years ahead of schedule.

Saying the U.S.’s predominant role on the world stage has faded, Mr. Carney said Canada must take matters into its own hands and work more closely with European allies. He said his government will increase the 2025-26 allocation for the Department of National Defence by $9.3-billion, on top of its existing budget of just under $40-billion.

This new spending, plus other existing defence-related spending in other departments of around $14-billion, pushes total expenditures to $62.7-billion for 2025-26, which equals 2 per cent of Canada’s GDP, the government said.

The Prime Minister said that Ottawa is not finished with new defence outlays. Mr. Carney is heading to a NATO leaders summit in late June in The Hague, where the alliance is discussing raising the NATO spending target to 3.5 per cent of GDP. He did not commit to a further expansion, but told reporters Monday his government expects a “further acceleration of spending.

Mr. Carney’s government has promised new equipment, including submarines and additional icebreakers, which are not funded in Monday’s announcement.

Much of the new money is operational spending, rather than capital expenditures geared to the equipment Mr. Carney plans to buy. It’s money designed to lay the foundation for a bigger military with a higher degree of readiness.

“Only one of our four submarines is seaworthy,” the Prime Minister said in a speech outlining the plan. “Less than half of our maritime fleet and land vehicles are operational.”

He said the federal government will also give a “well-deserved pay raise” to Canadian Armed Forces personnel, which the Prime Minister predicted would also help with recruitment and retention.

“They defend our coasts and waters. They patrol the Arctic, and support our allies on Russia’s borders. They do so under difficult conditions and, too often, with inadequate equipment,” he said. “They deserve better and they will have better.”

Also, the government announced it will move the Canadian Coast Guard to National Defence from Department of Fisheries and Oceans.

“Canadians elected our new government on a strong mandate for change – to protect our borders and defend our sovereignty with increased focus and investment. To that end, the Prime Minister will soon initiate the process of moving the Canadian Coast Guard to the leadership of the Minister of National Defence,” PMO spokesperson Emily Williams said in a statement. “The change will permit the Coast Guard to fulfill better both its civilian and security responsibilities. As this process unfolds, the Coast Guard will continue to carry out its vital work under the leadership of the Minister of Fisheries.”

Mr. Carney said his government’s planned spending increase is necessary in an increasingly “dangerous and divided world” where threats are unravelling the rules-based international order – a system on which Canada has relied for decades

“The long-held view that Canada’s geographic location will protect us is becoming increasingly archaic,” he said in a speech to the University of Toronto’s Munk School on Monday.

“Threats which felt far away and remote are now immediate and acute,” Mr. Carney said, citing “Russia’s barbaric invasion of Ukraine” and threats to our security and sovereignty not only from Moscow but also from “an increasingly assertive China.”

He said Ottawa wants to cut its purchasing of U.S. military goods.

“We should no longer send three-quarters of our defence capital spending to America.”

The new spending includes $2.6-billion to accelerate recruitment and help retain Armed Forces personnel as well as invest in the civilian work force who support the military.

It includes $844-million to repair and upgrade existing Forces infrastructure and critical equipment in both maritime and aerospace.

As the United States became the global hegemon, Mr. Carney said, it also became Canada’s closest ally and dominant trading partner.

But, he said, U.S. President Donald Trump’s protectionist tariffs – which levy fees on countries wanting to sell goods to the United States – are changing things.

“Now the United States is beginning to monetize its hegemony: Charging for access to its markets and reducing its relative contributions to our collective security,” the Prime Minister said.

The plan includes another $544-million to strengthen the Department of National Defence and the Armed Forces’ protection against cyber threats and secure networks. It includes funding for Communications Security Establishment Canada as well.

Another $1-billion will be allocated to make the military more self-sufficient in defending Canadian territory and citizens, particularly in the Arctic.

“Broadly, we are too reliant on the United States,” Mr. Carney said.

At The Hague gathering, member countries are expected to raise the Western alliance’s military spending target even higher – to 3.5 per cent of GDP, plus another amount equivalent to 1.5 per cent for security-related investments.

Mr. Carney said Canada is confident it will be able to meet the 1.5 per cent given investments in what he called “foundational elements of defence” such as critical minerals, artificial intelligence and quantum technology.

Former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had pledged to reach 2 per cent by 2032 and Mr. Carney’s Liberal Party during the recent federal election campaign had promised to accelerate this to 2030.

Another $4.1-billion will be used to lay the groundwork for a comprehensive “Defence Industrial Strategy” and strengthen partnerships with industry to enable private companies to build and supply more critical equipment inside Canada, the government said.

Why The Massive Increase In Military Spending Is All About Corruption

While there are many reasons behind such move, expert concluded the massive increase in military spending is not about security as we have no enemy except our ‘Master’ down south — the United States of America, which we have no chance to defeat even we increase the budget by a zillion times.

At the same time, if you look around why some corrupt countries always spend tons of money on military gears that they don’t need, you will see it’s about “kickbacks“, usually very juicy bribery in billions of dollars.

For example, India bought outdated 4.5th Gen (non-stealth) French Dessault Rafle Fighter Jet for a ridiculous price of $288M a pop, whereas even the 5th Gen F35 Stealth Figther Jet costs only about $70 – $100M each. So where do you think the difference of about $200M goes (if not to line someone’s pocket)?

Another thing is… Carney doesn’t know how to handle Trump for sure, and he has no solution for the imminent Economic Collapse due to Trump Tariffs — Auto, Steel, Aluminum industries will go belly up soon and at the very least. Which means he’s living on borrowed and the fact that he got infamous history of “Sticky Fingers”, expert analysts who are incidentally also taxpayers therefore believe the whole exercise is all about CORRUPTION, it has very little or nothing to do with security.

Canadians must therefore demand accountability as Carney is also known to condone white collar crimes and even murder… See: Mark Carney condones Law Violation that compromised Safety of the general Public knowingly and willfully

Why China should treat Mark Carney as persona non grata

For the abovementioned reasoning, China must be very careful dealing with Canada as Mark Carney can be even worse than Donald Trump, strategically speaking. And looking at the fact that Chinese EV is still being taxed at 100%, hoenstly,  we would forget about Canada if we were China.
