WHEREAS, Premier Ford has lit a match to our economic future, recklessly burning bridges in international trade and directly victimizing every Canadian with higher costs.

His government’s decision to unilaterally impose a punitive 100% tariff on Chinese Electric Vehicles—a move that “killed an EV partnership with China”—is an act of profound economic illiteracy. This is not a policy; it is a self-inflicted wound that slams the door on affordable transportation, sabotages our transition to a sustainable future, and “provokes another $15,000 on top of the existing 50%” for hard-working Canadians trying to make an environmentally responsible choice. He is literally pricing people out of a cleaner future and handing them the bill for his disastrous grandstanding.

WHEREAS, Premier Ford squanders public funds with a stupidity and brazenness that borders on the criminal, prioritizing cronyism over the public good.

His government’s decision to spend $75 million of taxpayers’ money on a “Ronald Reagan”-style advertising blitz is a slap in the face to every family struggling with the cost of living. As documented, not only the ad provoked an additional punitive 10% tariff on top of the existing 50%, this scheme is “Stupid, Wasteful, and Counterproductive… It’s a prime opportunity for Graft and more likely to prioritize Cronyism and Kickbacks.” This is not governance; it is a kleptocratic scheme using the public treasury as a private slush fund for connected insiders, while our healthcare and education systems crumble.

WHEREAS, Premier Ford presides over an administration riddled with corruption and lawlessness, demonstrating a contempt for the very rules he is sworn to uphold.
