One may ask how on earth a provincial official (Doug Ford the Premier of Ontario in this case) dares to openly condones lawlessness by promoting corruption (and even murder) as a way of life?
As a result, officials at the Municipal Regime eg. Mayor/Chief Planner/Chief Building Official of the City of Toronto are so embolden, so much so they openly and brazenly commit crimes such as asking for bribes, erect building that’s Fire/Traffics Hazards compromising Safety of the general Public knowingly and wilfully.
All the “Licensed Crime” is possible simply because the Federal Government under PM Mark Carney who is himself “another bird of the same feathers“… Yes, the Carney Regime is ‘corrupt’ not just due to scandals such as this one:-

Premier Doug Ford says RCMP detectives investigating the $8.28-billion Greenbelt land swap scandal have yet to contact him.
But Ford, who has promised to co-operate with the police probe, insisted Ontarians have moved on from a debacle.
“Can I tell you something? People don’t give two hoots about this Greenbelt that’s done, that’s gone — and we’re moving forward,” the premier told reporters Tuesday in Toronto.
“When we do our polling, it doesn’t even show up,” he said, referring to the detailed public-opinion research his Progressive Conservatives do monthly on numerous issues.
“So let’s get the show on the road and start building more homes.”

Ford faced questions about the land swap after Ontario’s information and privacy watchdog criticized staff in his government for using code words and private emails to discuss the controversial initiative.
Information and Privacy Commissioner Patricia Kosseim said last week that inappropriate behaviour “frustrated” searches under freedom of information legislation and broke laws that require proper records on official decisions.
The premier conceded that staff “need to follow the rules, as simple as that.”
“They don’t follow the rules they’re held accountable,” he said.
In 2022, the premier rezoned 7,400 acres of environmentally sensitive land for housing development in the 2-million acre Greenbelt around the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area despite previously pledging not to do so.
A joint Star and Narwhal investigation that year found eight of the 15 parcels slated for construction had been purchased after the Tories were elected in 2018 — while the land was still protected from development.
In separate August 2023 reports, the auditor general and the integrity commissioner each concluded property owners with ties to Ford’s PC had been “favoured” in the rezoning process.
One month later, with his public-opinion poll numbers plummeting — and two cabinet ministers and two top aides forced to resigned — a sombre and contrite premier cancelled the land swap.
“It was a mistake to open the Greenbelt,” Ford said in Niagara Falls in September 2023.
“I’m very, very sorry. I made a promise to you that I wouldn’t touch the Greenbelt. I broke that promise. As a first step to earning back your trust, I’ll be reversing the changes. We moved too quickly and we made the wrong decision … it caused people to question our motives.”
The Mounties launched their criminal probe weeks later.
